JB Stanley, 94, of Hamburg, died Saturday, December 17, 2016 at his residence.
Mr. Stanley was native of the Milo community, a resident of the Pine Hill Community since 1968 and a former resident of Crossett and Pine Bluff.
He worked at the Pine Bluff Arsenal and Kenneth Kraft Appliances for 14 years. He was the owner of Stanley Appliances and worked for the Georgia-Pacific Corporation. He was a carpenter until he retired at age 88. He was a member of the Trinity Free Will Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Vera Jordan Stanley in 1981; a grandson, Kevin Orr, Jr.; his parents, Shelton & Anna Knight Stanley; three brothers, Eugene, Willard & Shelton Stanley Jr., three sisters, Ruby Culp, Stella Craig and Elsie Craig and a son-in-law, Rev, Kevin Orr, Sr.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Aimee Browning Stanley of Hamburg; three sons, Eddie Stanley and wife, Molly, of Crossett; Scott Berry and wife, Dee Dee, of Houston, Texas and Brian Berry and wife, Joanna, of New Hampshire; three daughters, Shirley Orr of Hamburg, Leigh Davis and husband, Kevin, of Minden, Louisiana and Kimberly Naff and husband, James, of Harrison; 17 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are 10 a.m., Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at Trinity Free Will Baptist Church with Bro. Keith Boseman and Bro. Kenneth Neal officiating. Burial will be in the Egypt Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Eddie Stanley, Jr., James Stanley, Danny Orr, Brad Orr, Stanley Fox and Shane Fox. Honorary pallbearers are Jim Naff and Kevin Davidson. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Monday at the church.
