Jeannette Kilcrease, 73, of Hamburg, died on December 31, 2019 at her residence.
Mrs. Kilcrease was a 1965 graduate of Crossett High School and worked for Farmer’s Bank for 30 years. She was a member of the Promise Land Missionary Baptist Church where she sang in the choir, worked with the youth and taught Sunday school.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Obie and Eva Grace Hartsfield Walser and three brothers, Jimmy Walser, Mike Walser, and Johnny Walser.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Hiram Blaine “Buddy” Kilcrease; her sons, Phil Harville and wife, Jenny, Shawn Bates and wife, Becky, Joey Kilcrease and wife, Laurie, Casey Kilcrease and wife, Heather, all of Hamburg; the daughter that she claimed, Martha Jo Collins of Hamburg; two brothers, Byron Walser and wife, Rosie, of California and David Walser of Arkansas; 10 grandchildren, Courtney Smithey and husband, Jamey, Mallory Kilcrease, Ashton Kilcrease, Brayden Harville, Mary Beth Bates, Jayden Estelle, Dawson Bates, Gavin Kilcrease, Jon Michael Bates and Clayton Collins; three great-grandchildren, Laney Breedlove, Tylan Smithey and Creed Smithey; two special nephews, Daniel Walser and Jeremy Walser; a very special friend and caregiver, Joann Lauhon and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation is Friday, January 3, from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at the Promise Land Missionary Baptist Church. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. at the church. Bro. Josh Luellen and Bro. Trey Emory will officiate. Burial will be at the Promise Land Cemetery.
Pallbearers are her grandsons, Gavin Kilcrease, Brayden Harville, Jayden Estelle, Dawson Bates, Clayton Collins, Jamey Smithey and Jon Michael Bates. Honorary pallbearers are the members of the Haley Creek Boys.
