Jeffery Thomas Shehan, 56, of Dermott, died January 16, 2015 at his home.

He was a correctional officer in Tennessee, x-ray technician for Clarksville Memorial Hospital in Clarksville, Tennessee, recreational director for Wolf Creek Baptist Church Camp, and a member of Jennie Baptist Church in Lake Village.

Mr. Shehan was born on August 13, 1958 and was the son of the late William Ward and JoAnn Baker Ward.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Hellania Shehan.

Survivors are his wife, Linda R. Capps Shehan, of Dermott; a son, Brandon Lawson and wife, Brook, of Dermott; three brothers, Doug Shehan of Georgia, Steve Shehan of North Carolina, and Nick Ward of Tennessee; two sisters, Terri Hilsope of New Jersey and Kathy Urban of Michigan; three grandchildren, Christian Lawson, Blake Lawson, and Colby Garner; and a a host of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on January 22 at 6 p.m. at Jennie Baptist Church in Lake Village. Arrangements by Bishop-King Funeral Home of Lake Village.
