The Great I Am Temple in Monticello has announced the election of their new pastors, Pastor Jerome Pace and Co-pastor Clarissa Pace.

The pastoral installation will be held on Sunday, Sept. 24 at 2:30 p.m. at Trinity Full Gospel Ministries, located at 468 S. Edwards Street in Monticello. Apostle Lorenza Simmons is overseer.

Jerome Pace, a native of Stephens and the son of the late Ollie and Annie B. Pace, is a principal and coach at McGehee High School. He was called to the ministry in 1997.

Pace’s wife, Clarissa, is a native of El Dorado and a business owner in Monticello. She was called to the ministry in 1996.

They were both called to the ministry under the leadership of the former pastors, the late Royce Dale and Ruby Wilson at Trinity Full Gospel Church. They served faithfully with the former pastors of the Great I Am Temple until their passing.

Jerome was ordained as an associate minister with the Rock of Faith Spiritual Church, Inc. and Clarissa was ordained as evangelist missionary with the 3rd Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of Arkansas under the leadership of the late Bishop R.E. Matheney and present leadership of Bishop Joe B. Mason. She also served 18 years in ministry at Revival Center COGIC under the leadership of Pastor Michael A. Jones.

The guest speaker for the installation service will be Bishop Martha Moses, bishop of the Rock of Faith Spiritual Churches, who will also be conducting installation ceremony. She is pastor of Damascus Spiritual Church of North Little Rock.

The Great I Am Temple church family invites everyone to attend. A reception will follow the service.
