Jeromy Allen Edwards, 23, of Hamburg, died on May 15, 2016 at his residence.
He was a 2011 graduate of Lighthouse Christian Academy in 2011. He worked at the Arkansas Department of Corrections, was a former jailer for the Ashley County Sheriff’s Department and a member of the Montrose Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member of the Lighthouse Family Church.
Mr. Edwards enjoyed working on vehicles and helping people. He loved his co-workers and the deputies at the Ashley County Sheriff’s Department.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wayne and Judy Ford and Gary and Nancy Williamson.
He is survived by his wife, Jessica Martin Edwards; a daughter, Juliee’Ann Edwards; his parents, Jamie and Tammy Ford Edwards; a brother, Christopher Edwards; two sisters, Kristina and Rebecca Edwards all of Hamburg; his mother and father-in-law, Rickey and Dana Martin; a brother-in-law, Jamie Martin all of Monticello and several aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be held on May 19 at 2 p.m. at the Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home in Hamburg. Bros. Warren Finney and John Edwards will officiate. Burial will be in the Judson Cemetery.
Pallbearers are James Hodges, Jerod Williamson, David Lassiter, Tyler Nix, Josh Gulledge and Taylor Spaulding. Honorary pallbearers are Michael Vorhease and E. G. Morgan.
