Jerry Dewayne Williams, 69, a lifelong resident of Lake Village died Monday, June 20, 2022, in Hot Springs.

He was born on March 29, 1953, to his parents, Oddie “Buck” Williams and Gertie Mae Oliver.

Jerry was of the Baptist faith and worked in farming and was an electrician. He enjoyed hunting and spending time with his family.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Charles and Jimmy Tew; sister, Bobbie Dorris; and two grandsons, Logan and Drew Barbee.

He is survived by one daughter, Lawanda Barbee (Shawn) of Montrose; one son, Dewayne Williams of Monticello; brother, Cleatus Oliver of Southhaven, Mississippi; one sister, Shirley Darick of El Dorado; three grandsons, Nathan and Ryan Williams, and Lane Rice; two granddaughters, Hailey and Harper Barbee; one great-grandson, Delta Waltman; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at a later date and time, arrangements are entrusted to Bishop-King Funeral Home.
