Jimmy E. Carpenter, 47, of Hermitage, died on December 9, 2015 in Cleveland County, as a result of an auto accident.
He was born on January 10, 1968 at Monticello and was the son of Christine Evans Carpenter of Warren and the late Floyd Carpenter.
Mr. Carpenter was employed for 17 years with Mondi Paper Mill in Pine Bluff. He loved his family and enjoyed watching WWE wrestling and deer hunting.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Clyde Ross.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Ross Carpenter; a son, Ryan Mathew Carpenter and a stepson, Steven Slater Lane, both of Dumas; four daughters, Ashley Renee Carpenter of New Edinburg, Jessica Hill and husband Daniel of Crossett, Nicole Thomas and her husband, Chris of Johnsville, Michelle Allen and her husband Brandon of Warren; a step daughter Amie Michelle Nelson of Dumas; two brothers, Billy Carpenter and his wife Joanna of Warren and Danny Glover and his wife Lois of Monticello; four sisters, Jeanie Cade and her husband Michael of Warren, Rita Walker and her husband Dale of Lake Village, Rachael Thomas of Warren, and Debbie Blount and her husband Robert of Hermitage; a mother-in-law, Willie Sue Ross of Warren; 10 grandchildren, Braydon Owen Temple, Rylee Margaret Hill, Harley Madison Temple, Joseph Gene Thomas, Christopher Dale Thomas, Joey Danielle Hill, Kaiden Dion Nelson, Kylie Danielle Nelson, Zackery Wayne Rawls and Baby Girl Hill.
Funeral services will be held on December 12 at 1:30 p.m. at Frazer’s Funeral Home in Warren. Burial will be at Oakland.
Visitation is December 11 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Frazer’s Funeral Home.
