John David Higginbotham

John David Higginbotham, 57, of Crossett, died January 10, 2022, at his residence in Crossett.

He was a native and resident of Crossett for most of his adult life and a former Hamburg resident.

Mr. Higginbotham was a 1982 graduate of Hamburg High School. He enjoyed working on anything electronic. He worked for A & E Electric in Crossett as a heating and air specialist. He fought a long, hard battle, but is now at peace and rejoicing in Heaven.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Trammell; his parents, JD and Gail Bing Higginbotham both in 2020; a brother, Gary K. Higginbotham in 2007; a sister, Valerie Higginbotham in 1957 and a nephew, Zachary Seth Higginbotham in 2008.

He is survived by two brothers, Jay Higginbotham of Crossett and Eric Higginbotham of Hamburg; two nephews, Eric James Higginbotham and Gary Keith Higginbotham and wife, Chloe, and their son, Zachary Higginbotham, all of Hamburg; two stepdaughters, Christy Trammell of Little Rock and Katie Earnest of Louisiana; his girlfriend, Michelle Womble Knight of Crossett; two step-grandsons and a host of cousins and other family members.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
