John Climoth Green, 69, of Warren died Saturday, October 19, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock.

Born March 3, 1944 in Sparkman to the late Grady Leonard Green and Nannie Elizabeth Holloway Green, Green was a retired construction worker, former Chief of Police in Portland, and a Baptist.

Also, preceding him in death were daughters Karen Green and Kathy Green.

Survivors are his wife Shirley Reynolds Green whom he married August 2, 1996; one son John Green, Hampton; one step son Michael Tullos of Warren; one brother Lavern Green of Fordyce; one sister Nannie Mae Seale of Holly Springs; four grandchildren Blake Tullos of White Hall and Josh Tullos, Hayden Tullos and Zoe Beth Tullos, all of Warren,

Graveside services were at 2 p.m. Monday October 21, at Moseley Cemetery with Rev. Richard Barley officiating. Arrangements were by Frazer’s Funeral Home.

Active pallbearers were Joe Huitt, Larry Huitt, Gary Pruitt, Gary Morgan, Mark Spencer and Gary Green. Honorary pallbearers were Doug Spencer, Scott White, Marvin Norton, Robert Byrd and Clark Green.
