John Michael “Mike” McDonald, 63, of Lake Village died on April 6, 2020, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff.

He was born on October 5, 1956, in Dumas to the late James O. McDonald and the late Nellie (Shinley) McDonald.

Mr. McDonald was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish and enjoy the outdoors. He was a well driller for the Delta for nearly 40 years before becoming a metal fabricator. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Stuttgart and attended Lakeside United Methodist Church in Lake Village. He also was a lay speaker for the United Methodist churches.

Mr. McDonald is survived by one son, Ian Bailey McDonald of Russellville; one daughter, Ivy Sophia McDonald of Panama City Beach, Florida; one sister, Beverly Mihalyka of Vicksburg, Mississippi; a nephew, Cory Rowe; niece, Leslie Rowe Sadler; and a host of friends.

Burial will be in Holy Innocents Cemetery in Lake Village. Arrangements are by Bishop-King Funeral Home of Lake Village, Arkansas.
