John Paul Craig of Longview, formerly Crossett, passed away on July 17, 2019. He was 55.
Mr. Craig was a barber and owned Johnny’s Hair Design in Crossett. He was a 1982 graduate of Crossett High School, a member of the Cloverdale Assembly of God Church, and a volunteer Firefighter for the Johnsville Fire Department. He loved spending time outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Mr. Craig was preceded in death by his parents, Bro. Roy and Edith Mae Willis Craig, and two brothers, David Craig and Keith Craig.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Rita Carpenter Craig of Longview; two daughters, Jessie Livingston and husband, Joseph, of Hamburg and Abby Craig of Longview; a sister, Patricia Martin of Hamburg; a granddaughter, Olivia Mae Craig of Longview and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 20, at 2 p.m., at Cloverdale Assembly of God Church with Bros. Wes Miller and Jerry Carter officiating. Burial will be in Hollis Chapel Memory Garden.
Pallbearers are Norman Lee Swan, Troy Brown, Jeff Pinson, Terry Pippen, Jason Craig, and Steven Martin.

Visitation will be Friday, July 19 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., at the Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home.
