John Robert Bradford, 78, of Eudora, passed away on March 2, 2018.

He was born on September 14, 1939 in Chicot County to the late Robert Lee Bradford and Gladys Brumley Bradford.

Mr. Bradford served in the United States Army and was a pipeline welder for more than 50 years. He enjoyed raising cattle, fishing, hunting, singing and playing the guitar. He was a member of Ross Van Ness Community Church.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Bradford and his grandson, William Bradford, Jr.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Martha Bradford of Eudora; sons, William (Maggie) Bradford of Eudora and Gary Bradford of Kilbourne, Louisiana; daughter, Lisa Bailey of Kilbourne, Louisiana; brother, David Bradford of Monroe, Louisiana; sister, Margaret Carter of Kilbourne, Louisiana; grandchildren, Julie Bradford, James Bradford, Jonathan Bradford, Alicia Trigleth, Cory Bailey, Kinley Bradford and Madilyn Bradford; 10 great-grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 3 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Ross Van Ness Community Church in Eudora.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 4 at 2 p.m. at the church with Rev. Kenneth Watt officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Eudora.
