UAMUAM senior Lauren Johnson led the University of Arkansas at Monticello women’s golf team this week at the Spring Regional Preview at Rivercut Golf Course in Springfield Missouri.

Johnson tied for fifth overall, shooting a combined two-day score of 152 (76, 76). This was Johnson’s third top ten finish throughout the spring season.

Frida Rydberg, a junior, tied for 56th overall (85, 81) with a two-round score of 166.

Brianna Dickerson, a junior, (82, 88) turned in a combined score of 170 (82, 88), to tie for 72nd place.

Belle Tan, a freshman, tallied a two-day score of 175 (90, 85) and placed 88th.

Arkansas-Monticello compiled a team score of 663 in the event and placed 16th overall.

Northeastern State took the number one spot overall in the preview out of 21 overall competing teams, with a two-round score of 615, followed by Henderson State at 620 and host school Arkansas Tech in third with a score of 622.

UAM will be back in action April 17-18, as they head to Heber Springs to compete in the Natural State Classic at the Red Apple Inn and Country Club.
