Jordan Anthony Robinson, 77, of McGehee, passed away on September 4, 2018.
He was born on December 7, 1940 in Shreveport, Louisiana and was the son of the late Andrew Lafete and Leona Cooper Robinson.
Mr. Robinson received a master’s degree in microbiology at the University of South Louisiana. He owned and operated Robinson Fish Farm and Positive Image Photography. He also taught microbiology for SEARK School of Nursing. He was an ordained deacon at First Baptist Church in McGehee and a member of Desha Lodge #643 F&AM.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Carla Riley Robinson; a son, John Robinson and his wife Elizabeth of McGehee; two daughters, Jill Cingolani of Fayetteville and Julie Potter and her husband Craig of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Blakely Jordan Cingolani, Jessica Anderson and husband James, Genna Potter, Riley Robinson and Raegan Robinson; and great-granddaughter, Ella James Anderson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 6 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 7 at 11a.m. at the First Baptist Church in McGehee with Rev. Rick Miller and Dr. Ed Balducci officiating. Burial will follow at Tillar Cemetery.
