JR Wesley Manes, 64, of Monticello passed away on June 25, 2019 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff.
He was a citizen of the Cherokee Nation; loved to garden; enjoyed the outdoors; loved his family and they loved him; and he was a Christian.
Mr. Manes was born on November 8, 1954 in Dumas to the late Jay R. and Febbie Jane Burnett Manes.
Also preceding him in death was a daughter, Cassie Lorin Manes.
Survivors include two sons, JR Manes and Justin Pinson, both of Atkins; two daughters, Brittney (James Aaron, II) Dennis of Cherokee Village and Amy (Kyle) Robbins of Atkins; two brothers, James (Barbara) Manes of Monticello and Bobby (Sharron) Manes of Dumas; and three grandchildren, James Aaron Dennis, III, Rainy Lilleth Dennis and Tierri Willow Dennis.
A memorial service will be held at noon on Saturday, June 29 at the Oak Grove Assembly of God Church in Monticello.
