A juvenile who reportedly escaped a juvenile detention center at Dermott before spending the weekend joy-riding across Southeast Arkansas in stolen vehicles, will be charged as an adult, according to 10th Judicial District Prosecutor Thomas Deen.

Deen said he will charge 17-year-old Kalvin Bailey as an adult with escape and vehicle theft for the crimes he allegedly committed in the 10th Judicial District.

Bailey also faces charges in Magnolia where he was captured on Monday.
