A juvenile was killed Friday afternoon in Drew County after a motorcycle the juvenile was operating hit a Jeep head on, according to a State Police preliminary accident report.

The juvenile, whose name and age was not released in the State Police report, was traveling south on Old Highway 65 in Drew County around 4:30 p.m. Friday when the driver of a northbound Jeep swerved to avoid hitting two ATVs in the roadway. The juvenile then lost control of the motorcycle and struck the Jeep, according to the State Police preliminary report.

The juvenile was transported to Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock were he died.

The weather was clear and the roadway was dry when the accident occurred, according to the State Police report.
