Kathryn “Kathy” Land Brown, 45, of Lexington, Tennessee, formerly of Crossett, died on October 14, 2017 at the Henderson County Community Hospital in Lexington, Tennessee.
Mrs. Brown was a 1991 graduate of Crossett High School and the manager at the Shoe Show Store for 14 years. Raising her son and family were everything to her and she was willing to take on any challenge. She was an active person, enjoyed the outdoors and she loved life. She will be missed by her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Sam and Elise Land, G.W. and Auline Hudson and Myrtis Hudson.
She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Luke Brown; a daughter, Judyth Brianne Clark both of Lexington, Tennessee; four sons, James Dillan Brown of Lexington, Tennessee, Bryan Luke Clark and wife Allyson of Sterlington, Louisiana, Dakota Brown of Hamburg and Cole Ramsey of El Dorado; her parents, James and Ola Hudson Land of Crossett; two brothers, Gregory Winn and wife, Nicole, of Strong; James Land, Jr., and wife, Casey, of Crossett; a sister, Susie Haseloff and husband, Robert, of Brandon, Mississippi; a granddaughter, McKenzie Ramsey, five nephews and six nieces.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 17, at the Crossroads Cemetery with Bro. Ferrell Breashears officiating. Honorary pallbearers are Michael Johns, Jason Rice, Chris Rice, Russ Meeks and Tyler Lucas.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday, October 16 at the funeral home.
