Kathy Jordan Martin, 57, of Crossett, died on December 15, 2014 at Cancer Treatment Center of America in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
She was an employee for the University of Arkansas of Monticello where she taught adult education.
Mrs. Martin was an active member of West Crossett Missionary Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school and AWANA. She was also a member of the Ladies’ Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by brothers-in-law, Roy Dannehl, Sr., Tom Dannehl and Rayford Oliver Martin Jr.; a sister-in-law, Billie Jean Gatlin; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Jordan, Sr. and maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. John (Archie) Loveless.
She is survived in death by her husband, Ricky Oliver Martin; her parents, Alvin and Marie Jordan of Monticello; her sons, Joshua and wife Ashley of Crossett, and Jeremy and wife Magen of Crossett; her brothers, Paul Jordan and wife Connie of Crossett and David Jordan and wife Stacy of Conway; a sister, Annette Watson and husband Kenny of Selma; brothers-in-law Bobby Martin of Crossett, Jerry Martin and wife Joyce of Minden, Louisiana, and Donald Johnson of Rayville, Louisiana; sister-in-law Pat Bignar and husband Joey of Jonesboro, Louisiana; four grandchildren, Caleb, Brody, Maggie, and Rushing Martin; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held December 18 at 2 p.m. at West Crossett Missionary Baptist Church with Bros. John Marlar and Clayton Hales officiating. Interment will follow at Crossroads Cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett.
Visitation will be held on December 17 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at West Crossett Missionary Baptist Church.
Pallbearers are Chester Rosen, Bruce Carpenter, Tommy Shumpert, Jerry Watkins, Gary Farmer, and Doyle Blankenship Jr. Honorary Pallbearers are Kirk Kemp, Rick Owens, and Clovis Dean.
