Kayla Joyce Miller, 58, of Crossett, passed away on September 18, 2020.
She was born on August 23, 1962 in Farmerville, Louisiana to her parents, John Henry Spells, Sr. and Adrienne Spells.
Mrs. Miller enjoyed deer hunting, cooking and church activities. She was a member of Spartman Assembly of God.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Henry Spells, Sr. and Adrienne Spells; her son, Jacob “Jake” Kevin Smiley; her stepdaughter, Rachell Chandler and her grandparents, Elmer Mayberry and Hattie and JM Spells.
She is survived by her husband of almost seven years, Wendell Miller of Crossett; two children, Brigette Cook (Brad) of El Dorado and Mallory Smiley of Hot Springs; her stepson, Keith Miller of Smackover; four step-grandchildren, Jayda and Alex Horton, both of Crossett and Colin and Caleb Miller, both of Smackover; her twin sister, Karen Little of Crossett; and one brother, John Henry Spells, Jr. of Crossett.
Funeral services will be held September 21 at 2 p.m. at Sparkman First Assembly in Sparkman. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Crossroads Cemetery in Crossett.
