Ken Taylor, Jr., 54, of Montrose, died March 21, 2015 as the result of an automobile accident.
Mr. Taylor was a native of West Monroe, Louisiana; a resident of Montrose for the past nine months and a former resident of Crossett for several years and Longview, Texas for many years. He was a truck driver and a member of the Greggton United Methodist Church in Longview, Texas.
He was preceded in death by a son, Connor Taylor; his grandparents, J.D. and Laura Mae Frazier and Dalton and Lois Taylor.
He is survived by a son, Jeffery Taylor and wife, Tia, of Crossett; a daughter, Ashley Taylor and her fiance, Matt Stepherson, of College Station, Texas; his parents, Kenneth Taylor Sr., and Janice Frazier Taylor of Cantonment, Florida (formerly of Crossett); two sisters, Rita Harrison and husband, David, of Cantonment, Florida and Amy Beckett and husband, Steve, of Ozark, Missouri; four grandchildren, Matthew Taylor, Lucas Taylor, Shannon Bond and Katie Bond.
A memorial service will be held on March 25 at 10 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Crossett with Dr. Russell Moore officiating. Visitation will follow the memorial service.
