A re-enactment of “Let Freedom Ring,” a one-man play about the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., will highlight the University of Arkansas at Monticello’s observance of Black History Month.
Greenfair Moses, III, who travels the country performing as “Brother Moses,” a nationally-known portrayer of Dr. King, will appear at UAM February 21 at 7 p.m. in the Capitol Room of the John F. Gibson University Center.
Moses will present Robert Clymire’s award winning one-man play about the life of Dr. King, including character portrayals, songs and excerpts from Dr. King’s sermons and speeches.
UAM will also host a gospel music night as part of Black History Month on February 22 at 6:30 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center.
