University of Arkansas at Monticello men’s golfer Kinley Lee was selected to the All-Great American Conference Second-Team.
Lee, a sophomore from Clyde, Texas, led the UAM men’s golf team this spring at the Southern Bancorp Invitational played in Mountain Home where he recorded an overall score of 222 (75, 74, 73) to tie for eighth place.
Lee also led Arkansas-Monticello during the fall season with third and fourth place finishes.
His best tournament from the fall season came at the Henderson State Invitational, at the Hot Springs Country Club where Lee shot a 213 (74, 70, 69) and placed third. His final round score of 69 was not only tied for second best throughout the invitational, but also tied his collegiate best since joining the Weevil golf team.
Lee was recently named as a finalist for UAM’s male scholar athlete of the year award.
UAM Men’s Golf will return to the course on April 23 for the GAC Championship Tournament at the Hot Springs Country Club in Hot Springs.
