Lance Taylor Brantley, 37, of Crossett, passed away on April 4, 2016.
He was an electrician at the plywood mill. He loved his hometown and never wanted to leave for any real length of time. He loved the outdoors, camping, hunting, fishing and spending time with his friends.
Mr. Brantley was born on November 1, 1978 in Crossett, and was the son of Travis W. Brantley and Joyce Stephenson.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Stephenson Carter and grandmothers, Edith Faye Brantley and Verniece Stephenson.
Survivors include his father, Travis W. Brantley (Julie) of Cabot; a brother, Tanner Dickerson (Angie) of El Paso, Texas; grandfathers, Travis F. Brantley and Dewey “Slim” Stephenson, both of Crossett; a special aunt, Cindy Brantley; a special uncle, Ricky Brantley; a sister, Candice Cochran (D.B.) and a brother, Dylan Brantley. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces who loved him very much.
Funeral services will be held on April 8, 2016 at 2 p.m. at North Crossett First Baptist Church with Bro. Robin Allen officiating. Interment will follow at Simms Cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett.
Visitation is April 7 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
