Russell Keith Langley, a 62-year-old Monticello man charged with computer child pornography, has pleaded not guilty and requested a jury trial. His trial date is set for September.

Circuit Judge Bynum Gibson set Langley’s trial date for September 22 at 9 a.m. His omnibus hearing is set for July 6 at 9 a.m. and his pre-trial hearing is set for August 17 at 9 a.m.

Langley is alleged to have used a computer online service or internet service between the dates of March 21 and March 24 to “seduce, solicit or entice, or attempt to seduce, solicit or entice” a child or someone he believed to be a child “to engage in sexually explicit conduct,” according to a charging document filed April 1 by 10th Judicial District Prosecutor Thomas Deen.

Langley was arrested at his home on March 24. He was released on a $20,000 bond and was ordered to not use the internet or social media and have no contact with certain individuals, according to court documents.
