Larry Thomas McKinzie, 69, of Dumas passed away on December 19, 2018 in Dumas.
He was a Baptist, worked for the U.S. Postal Service as mail truck driver, and served in the Army National Guard from 1968-1974 and 1988-1992 as an (E-6) staff sergeant.
Mr. McKinzie was born on January 19, 1949 in Dumas and was the son of the late Merle and Eva Dale Bennett McKinzie.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Wanice Jarrett.
Survivors are his wife, Donna McKinzie of Dumas; two daughters, Amanda French (Jason) of McGehee and Heather McKinzie (Sharon) of Little Rock; a brother, Harry McKinzie of Star City; four grandchildren, Denise, Todd, Rachel and Zoey; and three great grandchildren, Braxton, Ivy and Nathan.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 20, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Griffin Funeral Home in Dumas. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 21, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Walnut Lake Cemetery with Rev. Scott Gilbreth officiating.
