Larry Wallace New, 62, of Little Rock, passed away on July 7, 2017 in Little Rock.
He worked in construction as a heavy equipment operator for over 40 years. He loved dogs, football, the McGehee Owls, and was an avid New Orleans Saints fan.
Mr. New was born on September 25, 1954 in Greenville, Mississippi and was the son of the late Austin New and Maple Willowdean Noland Floyd.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Cindy New.
Survivors include a son, Paul New of Monticello; daughters, Angela New, Stephanie New and Ashley New, all of Tampa, Florida; a brother, Ronnie (Terri) New of Little Rock; and grandchildren, Elijah Weaver and Adilynn New.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 9 from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service Chapel in McGehee. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. following the visitation at the funeral home with Rev. Kenny Culpepper officiating. Burial will be at McGehee Cemetery in McGehee.
