Larry William Haney, 66, of Monticello, passed away January 19, 2022, at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello.
He was born April 5, 1955, in Monticello, to the late Harold William Haney and Sue Griffith Haney.
He was a truck driver, sign painter, automotive repair technician, and a Baptist. Larry enjoyed watching sports and racing and was on the board of directors of Advantages of Monticello.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; a son, William Ryan Haney; a sister, Pat Forrest; and a niece, Lynn Davenport.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Evelyn Marie Sullivan Haney of Monticello; one son, Jeremy Wayne Haney of Monticello; one brother, Richard Haney of Idaho; and a nephew, Shannon Forrest.
Graveside service will be held Saturday, January 22 at 4 p.m. at the Rock Springs Cemetery. There will be a come-and-go viewing Friday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home in Monticello.
