LaWana McIlvoy Vick, 75, of Little Rock, died July 12, 2014 in Little Rock.
She was born at Kelso on October 6, 1938 and was the daughter of the late William Alonzo and Mary Belle Simpson McIlvoy.
She worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for 31 years. She formerly lived in Pine Bluff before moving to Little Rock last year. LaWana loved animals and loved to walk. She was a charitable and giving person.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Lester McIlvoy, Varnell McIlvoy, and Lonnie McIlvoy; and a sister, Eunice McIlvoy Thurman.
Survivors include her son, Robert Jessie Vick, Jr. of Little Rock, five nieces and a nephew.
Visitation is July 18 from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on July 18, 2014 at the funeral home with Rev. Ben White officiating.
Burial will be at McArthur Cemetery at McArthur.
