Lee Davis Cox, 58, of Watson, passed away July 22, 2021, in Jonesboro.
He was born on October 29,1962 to Earl Davis and Erma Lee Jane Isom Cox. He was preceded in death by his father.
Mr. Cox was self-employed as a farmer and cattle rancher. He grew up on a farm that is what he always loved and did with his life until he became sick to climb that tractor. Once a farmer, always a farmer.
He was a member of Watson United Methodist Church, former member of Kiwanis Club, member of Cattleman’s Associations, All Star Baseball Team and coached youth sports for years.
Survivors include his mother, Erma Lee Jane Isom Cox; one son, David Cox (Ashton) of Watson; one daughter, Kimberlee Cox Lenderman (Heath) of Dumas; one brother, Will Cox of England; a half-brother, Keith Owens of Mabelvale; two sisters, Mary Cox Bryant and Debbie Cox Mankin, both of Watson; and three beautiful grandchildren, Bradlee Davis Cox, Leelyn Clair Cox and Enslee Cate Lenderman.
Graveside service will be Saturday, July 24, at 4 p.m. at Watson Cemetery with Rev. Keith Pennington officiating.
Memorials may be made in memory of Lee to the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute or Lee Cox Final Expense Fundraiser by Libby Cox Snyder.
