Lee Roy Beatty, 80, of McGehee, passed away on April 29, 2016.
He was a former member of the McGehee Auxiliary Police, the McGehee Volunteer Fire Department, and was a member of First Assembly of God in McGehee.
Mr. Beatty was born on August 29, 1935 in Winchester (Drew County) to the late Willie Bill and Myrtle Cress Beatty.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 11 brothers, and one sister.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Barrett Beatty; sons, Dwaine Beatty and his wife, Amy of Lonoke, and Darryl Beatty and his wife, Susan of Cabo; a daughter, Donna Morrison and her husband, Wayne of Collins; grandchildren, Brandy and Trent Buie, Brooke and Joe Young, Whitney and T.J. Haynes, Courtney Morrison, Shane and Shelby Beatty, and Lauren Beatty, and great-grandchildren, Jaidyn, Jaila, Joe Jr., Audrey, and LaiKyn.
Visitation will be held on May 1 from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee.
Funeral services will be held on May 2 at 2 p.m. at First Assembly of God in McGehee with Rev. Terry Morgan officiating. Burial will follow at Jefferson Cemetery in Winchester.
