Lem Willie Lambert, 73, of Fountain Hill, died Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at the Ashley County Medical Center in Crossett.
He was a lifelong resident of Fountain Hill, a retired timber worker, and was a member of House of Prayer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lem Willie Lambert and Lorine Miller Lambert, two brothers, George and James Lambert, three sisters: Dorothy M. Veasey, Barbara Lambert and Willie Daniels. Lem enjoyed people. He loved fishing, hunting, gardening and watching westerns and sports on television.
He is survived by two brothers, Joe Lambert and wife Sherry of Lacey, Arkansas and Waymond “Buddy” Lambert of Milwaukee, Illinois; eight sisters, Vera Dotson, husband Horace of Houston, Texas, Louise Miller and Pamela Lambert both of Fountain Hill, Mary Franklin, husband Johnny, Shirley Benton, husband Jerry both of Lacey, Doris Franklin of Longview, Arkansas, Linda Daniels of Kansas City, KS and Marilyn Jones of Cavena, California and a host of nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends.
Funeral services are Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 1:00 pm at House of Prayer with Rev. Daryle Daniels, Jr., officiating. Active pallbearers are Calvin Miller, Dennis Cole, Elvin Daniels, Ralph Adkins, Daryle Daniels, Sr., and Jerry Benton. Honorary pallbearers are nephews. Burial in Mt. Pelium Cemetery.
