Lena Laverne Glennon Johnson, 85, of Hermitage, died June 9, 2014 at her home.
She was the retired owner and operator of Johnson’s Café and a member of Hermitage Baptist Church.
Mrs. Johnson was born on Born October 15, 1928 in Drew County and was the daughter of the late Robert Henry Glennon and Clara Loveless Glennon.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Derry Lee Johnson; brothers, Eugene Glennon and Bo Glennon; sisters, Verda Wages, Edna Young and Lucille White.
Survivors include her son, Robert Johnson of Warren; three daughters, Sue Wilson of Sumpter, Mary Vann of Hermitage and Patsy Chapman of Hermitage; six grandchildren Leslie Adams, Kim McGaha, Jeremy Johnson, Beth Lynn, Robin Chapman and Holly Chapman; six great-grandchildren, Logan Adams, Malachi Johnson, Grace Adams, Aceon Johnson, Maxx McGaha and Rett McGaha.
Funeral services will be held June 12 at 2 p.m. at Hermitage Baptist Church. Burial will be at Marsden Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Visitation is June 11 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Frazer’s Funeral Home in Warren.
