Lenora Turntine Tensley, 74 of Star City, died May 11, 2014 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff.
She was a member of Pine Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Star City and was a homemaker.
She was born October 6, 1939 in Meroney, Ark., and was the daughter of the late Preston and Carrie Miles Turntine.
Also preceding her in death was a son, Leon Tensley; two brothers, Columbus Turntine and Robert Summerville, two sisters, Lozetta Armstrong and Sadie Turntine.
Survivors include five sons, Ace Tensley and Lavon Tensley of Star City, Preston Tensley, Robert Tensley and Curtis Tensley, all of Spokane, Wash.; two daughters, Genevia Ellis of Star City and Margie Ezell of Pine Bluff; the father of her children, Lee Edward Tensley; one brother, O.V. Turntine of Star City; two sisters, Jenny Belle Lewis and Lucy Mae Matthews, both of Star City; 24 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. May 17, 2014 at Griffin Funeral Chapel. Visitation is 6 p.m. 8 p.m. May 16 at the funeral home.
