Leonard Dewaine Morgan, 79 of Star City, passed away February 26, 2020 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock.
He was born July 29, 1940 in Lincoln County to the late Houston R., Sr. and Venia O. Williams Morgan.
Mr. Morgan was the plant manager of Viking Bag, retiring after 39 years. He was a member of Pine Hill Free Will Baptist Church and a member of Pine Hill Hunting Club. He enjoyed playing dominos with his friends and loved going to his grandchildren’s activities.
Also preceding him in death was a son, Greg Morgan; and three brothers, Wilber, Gilbert and Bobby Morgan.
Survivors include his wife, Charlcie McGehee Morgan of Star City; son, Scott (Sandra) Morgan of Richmond, KY; daughter, Gina (Heath) Moran of Little Rock; three brothers, Raymond (Angie) Morgan and H.R (Diane) Morgan, all of Star City, and Ronnie (Peggy) Morgan of Conway; two sisters, Dorothy (Richard) Hawkins of Star City and Linda (Rodger) Harrison of Benton; and four grandchildren, Katelynn Morgan, Taylor Moran, Jared Morgan and Jesse Morgan.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 29, at Griffin Funeral Chapel with Bro. Jerry Sadler and Bro. Jimmy Williams officiating. Visitation is Friday, February 28 from 6 p.m until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Drake Cemetery with Bro. Jim Baker officiating.
Pallbearers are Jeremy Thompson, Bob Crain, Ronald Morgan, Gary Schlenker, Lee Maynard, Ronnie Morgan, Herman Gasaway, Brock Steed, T.G. Thompson and Jacob McGehee.
