Letha Mae Saffold, 86 of Wilmar, passed away February 12, 2014, at the Bradley County Medical Center in Warren.
She was a homemaker, babysitter, member of Oak Grove Free Will Baptist Church and the widow of Joe Lee Saffold. Letha Mae had many hobbies including her gardening, flowers, yardwork, sewing, crocheting and quilting. She also loved doing word searches.
Mrs. Saffold was born March 29, 1927, in Bradley County and was the daughter of the late Albert Wesley and Irma Glennon Outlaw.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Irma Lanell (Tullum) Chambers; a brother, Leslie Outlaw; a sister, Dean Coddington; and her step-mother, Eunice Outlaw.
Survivors include one son, Charles Albert Saffold of Wilmar; one daughter, Connie Lee McKeiver of Wilmar; one brother, Bobby Outlaw of Warren; one sister, Ida Lee Sweeney of Hermitage; five grandchildren, Robert Chambers and wife Rebecca, Monica Lee and husband Zach, Brad Saffold and wife Sarah, Josh McKeiver and wife Amanda and Amanda Jones and husband Tim; ten great-grandchildren, Cole Rawls, Michaela Orton, Erin Chambers, Slade Lee, Parker, Makena and Sadie Saffold, Brayden, Baylee and Brynlee Jones and one grandchild expecting in July; and a special caregiver, Venius Russell.
Funeral services will be held February 15 at 2 p.m. at Stephenson Dearman Funeral Home in Monticello. Burial will be at Outlaw Cemetery in Warren.
