Leverne Sarah Williams Rochell, 54, of Star City passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at her home.
She was born on October 11, 1963 in Tarry (Lincoln County) to the late Fred and Tearessie Jacobs Williams.
Mrs. Rochell was a member of St. Ollie Missionary Baptist Church and was a cafeteria worker for the Star City School District. She was a 1982 graduate of Star City High School.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Leo Cheatom, Leroy Williams, Clarence Williams and Morris Williams; and three sisters, Geneva Williams, Vader Mae Bearden and Dorothy Williams.
Survivors include her husband, David Rochell of Star City; a son, Lamar (Megan) Rochell of Alexander; two daughters, LaRonica (Hassan) Mack of Newnan, Georgia and Kiesha (Kenyon) Lewis of Alexander; three brothers, Fred (Berlene) Williams, Jr. of Pine Bluff, Lorenzo (Annie) Williams of Ladd and Johnie (Yvette) Lee Williams of Star City; two sisters, Bobbie Dunn and Lorene (Edward) Harris, both of Tarry; five grandchildren, Iyanna Mack, Alivia Mack, Elias Mack, Isaiah Lewis and Kaden Rochell; sister-in-law, Rutha Williams of Tarry; two special nieces, Zaria Thomas and Iniyah Shaw, both of Ft. Smith.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 28, at 11 a.m. at the St. Ollie Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Melvin Harrison officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 27 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Griffin Funeral Service. Burial will be at St. Ollie Cemetery.
