Lillian Christine Lampkin, 86, of Monticello, passed away on January 30, 2018.
She was born on August 27, 1931 at Gould to the late Elijah Hall and Onie Thomas Hall.
Lillian was a fantastic mother and housewife. She loved to quilt and enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening. She made homemade biscuits three times a day. She was a member of Arkansas City Baptist Church.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Hoyt Hall and Buddy Hall; sisters, Bonnie Herman and Earl Wolfe.
Survivors include her sons, Lavon Lampkin, Jr. and his wife, Leta of McGehee, and Chris Lampkin and his wife, Shaun of Monticello; daughters, Rita Kaye Kolb and her husband, James, and Cynthia Ann Westmoreland and her husband, Robert of Arkansas City; a sister, Gracie Deweese of Dumas; grandchildren, Audra Leigh Kolb, Kirby McCallie, Josh Stringfellow, Caleb Lampkin and Kai Lampkin; great-grandchildren, Dorian Lampkin and Levi McCallie.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 1, from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 2, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Gene Gregory officiating. Burial will be at Tyro Cemetery in Tyro.
