Lillian Curtis Cunningham, 73, of Hamburg died February 14, 2014 at her residence.
She was a resident of Hamburg most of her life and a resident of Redfield for the past two years.
Mrs. Cunningham graduated from Fountain Hill High School in 1959 and was a homemaker and a member of the Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Hamburg. She loved her grandchildren, her flowers and drawing.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Morris Cunningham. Mr. Cunningham died two weeks ago. She is also preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Daisy Thomas Curtis; two sisters, Oneta Shaddon and Dorothy Broomfield; a brother; Paul Curtis and a very special son-in-law, James Meeks.
She is survived by three daughters, Sharon Lovette and husband, Frank, of Redfield, Angela Payne and husband, Johnny, of Columbus, Texas and Melissa Lovett and husband, Kenneth, of Hamburg; two brothers, Henry Curtis of Jessieville and Raymond Curtis of Needmore; four sisters, Wanda Rogers and Rosa Wagner both of Waldron, Monette Austin of Harvey and Linda Rogers of Y City; nine grandchildren, Dammon McGilton and wife, Debbie, Brandon McGilton, Tamara Lara and husband, Oscar, Brittany Neal, Tara and Tanya Hawk, Josh, Jordan and Will Lovett; four step-grandchildren, Jennifer Powell and husband, Chad, Nicholas Lovette and wife, Crystal, Kindell and Jessica Payne; 7 great-grandchildren, eight step-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are February 17 at 2 p.m.at Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home in Hamburg with Rev. M.L. Faler officiating. Burial will be in the Flat Creek Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Dammon McGilton, Brandon McGilton, Josh Lovett, Will Lovett, Jason Johnson, Frank Lovette, Kenneth Lovett and Johnny Payne.
