She was a 1965 graduate of Hamburg High School, a homemaker and librarian at the Ashley County Library for 17 years.
Mrs. Kinnaird was a member of the Gardner Baptist Church and a former member of the First Baptist Church for many years. She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing on her iPad.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Griffin and Emma Hazel Bonds King; two brothers, Charles G. King and Billy Glen King and three sisters, Betty Sue King, Nila Janell King, and Janice Ann King Sivils.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Calvin W. Kinnaird; her son, Jeff Kinnaird, both of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; a daughter, Lacey Lynn Hines, and husband, Jeff, of Little Rock; two grandsons, Ashton Hines, and Hayden Hines.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 2, at 10 a.m. at the Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home in Hamburg with Rev. Colby Harper and Dr. Bobby Pennington officiating.
Burial will be in the Eden Cemetery. Pallbearers are Mitch Stanley, Gene Bates, James Short, Greg Maxwell, Alan Maxwell, and Jamie Mondragon. Memorials may be made to the Stone River Manor Benevolence Fund, 205 Haynes Drive, Murfreesboro, TN 37129-5101.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 1 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
