Linda Tolliver, 61, of Lake Village, passed away on August 22, 2017.
She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Dermott and was a prayer warrior who loved going to church, reading her Bible, spending time with her family and cooking.
Mrs. Tolliver was born June 6, 1956 in Parkdale to the late Elvin and Johnnie Robinson Starks.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her children, LaWanda Starks and Jacob Tolliver; her sisters, Mary Lee Ridgel and Priscilla Ann Starks.
Survivors include her husband of 38 years, David Tolliver; her sons, Michael Starks of Lake Village, David Jr. Starks, of Little Rock, and Diontrez Tolliver of Lake Village; daughters, Shalanda Starks of Parkdale, Shalinda Starks of Lake Village, Shawanda Tolliver of Eudora, and Priscilla Starks of Little Rock; brothers, Elvin Starks, Jr., of Indianapolis, Indiana, Leroy Starks of Parkdale, Billy Ray Starks of Indianapolis, Indiana, Tony Starks of Little Rock, Alonza Hicks of Lake Village, Roy Carter of Parkdale, James Carter, Jr. of Parkdale, Sammy Carter of Parkdale, and Mark Carter of Crossett; sisters, May Helen Williams of Indianapolis, Indiana, Gloria Glass of Eudora, Rosie Herbert of Indianapolis, Indiana, Maryland Starks of Indianapolis, Indiana, Carilyn Lang of St. Louis, Missouri, Shirley Taylor of Eudora, Wilie Mae Robinson of Hamburg, Mildred Jackson of Little Rock, Gertrude Starks Hicks of Lake Village, and Idella Potter of Cheyenne, Wyoming; 16 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, August 27, at Strangers Rest Missionary Baptist Church in Lake Village. Burial will be held at Strangers Rest Cemetery. Arrangements by Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service of Lake Village.
