The Alex Foundation will host a literary arts reception featuring John T. Wayne, author of The Gaslight Boys series, at the Guachoya Cultural Arts Center on February 19 at 5:30 p.m.
Tickets from the reception are $25 which includes an autographed book and refreshments.
Wayne, the new standard in Western Folklore, is the author of Gaslight Boys series of books including Catfish John, Ol’ Slantface, The Treasure of Del Diable, Blood Once Spilled, and Showdown at Scatter Creek.
Wayne was born in Missouri and enlisted in the U.S. Marines. After seven years of service in the military, he attended the University of Oregon. He and his family reside in Arkansas.
