Area high school students from the Medical Application of Science and Health (M*A*S*H) Program, sponsored by UAMS and the UAMS Delta Area Health Education Center South, visited the UAM College of Technology-McGehee recently to learn more about the school’s nursing, paramedic and emergency medical technician programs.

M*A*S*H is a two-week summer program designed to inform students about health careers and health improvement. The program is for students in the ninth through the 12th grade who have completed one semester of biology.

As part of their tour of the McGehee campus, the students received a demonstration of Sim-Man, a mannequin used to demonstrate nursing techniques.
