Lola Fenton Harris 78, of Little Rock, formerly of Dumas, passed away on July 21, 2020 in Little Rock.
She was born on June 3, 1942 in Horatio, Arkansas to the late Sherman and Lois Casteel Fenton.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Howard Russell Harris; three brothers, Lynn Fenton, Bobby Fenton and Wayne Fenton; and a nephew, Nicky Fenton.
Mrs. Harris was a graduate of Horatio High school and received a degree in education at the University of Arkansas at Monticello. She taught school for 32 years, was very active in the community and was a member of the First Methodist Church in Dumas. She loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by two sons, Mike Rogers of Little Rock and Blake and Misty Rogers of Lake Village; three grandchildren, Jonathan and Kimber Joe Rogers of Lake Village and Sydney Rogers of Little Rock; and a number of nieces and nephews and a host of wonderful caregivers.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 24, at 1 p.m. at Walnut Lake Cemetery in Pickens, Arkansas with Dr. Tandy Hanson officiating.
Pallbearers will be Julius Davidson, Alan Goodgame, Kenny Hall, Barry Davis, John Daniels, Jimmy Ray Gentry, Bobby Fenton and Clay Fenton.
