Lorena Bell Clark Harrison, 87, of Star City died on May 23, 2017 at Gardner Nursing Center in Star City.
She was born March 5, 1930 in Meriden, Kansas to the late Charles Albert and Easter Pearl Stout Clark.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Star City, was a charge nurse for several nursing homes, including Alma Nursing Home in Kansas and England Nursing Home, and worked for Hallmark Greeting Cards. She was active with the American Red Cross and was an excellent student.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Eugene Harrison; two sons, Alan Dwayne Harrison and Roger Lee Harrison; a sister, Bernice Clark Bolan; and two brothers, Raymond Clark and Norman Dale Clark.
Survivors include a daughter, Norma Jean Dunaway of Perry, Kansas; two sisters, Lois Tribble and Freda Roberson, both of Valley Falls, Kansas; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; five great great-grandchildren and three on the way.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on May 26 at Griffin Funeral Chapel with Bro. Brad Elrod officiating. Visitation is May 25 from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Alma City Cemetery in Alma, Kansas at a later date.
