Loretta Mae Gann Summitt, 81, passed away January 4, 2021 at her home.
She was a member of Amos Bayou Assembly of God Church, a homemaker and loving mother.
She was born January 30, 1939 in Jerome and was the daughter of the late E.B. and Othel Clayton Gann.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Summitt; son, Billy Daniel Summitt; sister, Martha Jo Williams; brother, Kenneth Gann; niece, Stephanie Benefield; nephew Sammy Williams and great nephew, Todd Richardson.
Survivors are three daughters, Chris (Jim) Henley of Sheridan, Susan (Bobby) Garner of Watson, and Kim (Randy) Crump of Star City; a sister, Frances (Larry) Duvall of Atkins, 15 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, January 8 at 11 a.m. at Dark Corner Cemetery with Doyan Moreland officiating.
Memorials may be made to donor’s choice of charity.
