Loretta Miller, 84, of Monticello, passed away on June 10, 2019 at Belleview Estates Nursing & Rehab in Monticello.
Mrs. Miller was a retired operator for the Southern Bell Telephone Company, hospital admission clerk, Holiday Inn waitress and was a Jehovah’s Witness.
She was born on February 16, 1935 in Monticello to the late Alvin Webb and Eathel Grant Webb.
Other than her parents, she was also preceded by her husband, Mitchell Miller; one granddaughter, Melanie Dickerson; and one brother, Willie Webb.
Survivors include one son, Marcus Miller and Dawn of Monticello; one daughter, Kathy Forrest of Monticello; one sister, Gail Pelley of Mayflower; three grandchildren, Dorinda Ellis and Reagan Lephiew both of Warren, and Jaimee Lachney of Camden; eleven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a special friend, Cathy Jackson of Monticello.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 13, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, June 14, at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery.
