Lillie “Lou” Mae Hill Pharr, 71, of Monticello passed away January 26, 2021 in Dumas.
She was born May 23, 1949 in Dumas, the daughter of the late, Coleman Lloyd Hill and Jewel Pierce Hill.
Lou was a member of Grady Church of Christ Church. She was formerly employed by Selma-Drew Central School District and was homemaker.
Survivors are her husband, Gene Pharr of Monticello; son, Steve Pharr of Pine Bluff; daughter, Jeanie (Chris) Chambers of Monticello; one brother, Joe Pat Hill of Jacksonville, Alabama; one sister, Jewel (Edwin) Branson of Dumas; five grandchildren, Dayton (Jennifer) Pharr, Cassidy Cheatam, Christopher Chambers, Allison Chambers and Bentley Hopper; two great grandchildren, Tristan Pharr and Gracelynn Aaliyah, and one goddaughter, Dr. Nicole Lawson.
Graveside services will be held Friday, January 29, at 2:30 p.m. at Mount Tabor Cemetery with Landon Dutton officiating.
