Louise Moseley Corker, 80, of Monticello and formerly of Dumas and Johnsville, died February 3, 2014 at the Drew Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Corker was a bookkeeper for many years and was a housewife and homemaker.

A member of Pauline Baptist Church in Monticello, Mrs. Corker was very proud of being the oldest person to complete faith training at the church and spread Christian witness with the church group to people in the area.

She was born January 7, 1934 in Rock Springs and was the daughter of the late Preston Moseley and Thelma Wolfe Moseley.

Also preceding her in death was her husband, James L. Corker.

Survivors include two sons, James R. Corker and spouse Deborah of White Hall and Gary Lynn Corker and spouse Rosileia of Santos Sao Paulo, Brazil; two daughters, Sandra Norris of Monticello and Charlotte Hughes and spouse Jim of Benton; a sister, Claudine Stedman of Warren; 10 grandchildren, Bo Norris, Brandy Hampton, Lindsay Hillyard, Chris Hughes, Brian Hughes, Amanda Winter, Jennifer Harrison, Stephanie Phillips, Leticia Correia and Vanessa Correia; four great-grandchildren, Coltin Hampton, Eli Hampton, Tebow Hampton, Madison Norris, Tristian Harrison and Nathaniel Winter.

Funeral services will be held February 8 at 10 a.m. at Frazer’s Funeral Home in Warren. Burial will be at Union Hill Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home.

Visitation is February 7 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Frazer’s Funeral Home in Warren.
