Louise Edmonds, 75, of Sulligent, Alabama, formerly of Star City, died October 16, 2014 at her home.

She was a homemaker and ran the dairyette in Star City for 20 years. She was also a Free Will Baptist and loved yellow roses.

She was born April 26, 1939 to the late Claude and Rebe Smithson Flynn.

Louise was also preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Paul R. Edmonds, Sr.; a son, Mitchel Edmonds, brothers, Freddie Flynn, Wayne Flynn, Earl Flynn and a sister, Barbra Flynn.

Survivors include a son, Paul Raymon Edmonds II of Star City; two daughters, Lane Reeves of Sulligent, Alabama and Sarah Jane Fuqua of Mississippi; four sisters, Nelda Spruill, Jackie Jewell, Daree Hughes all of Mississippi and Gee Whitten of Clarksville, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Colby R. Edmonds and Melissa Willbanks; three great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

Services will be held October 18 at 3 p.m. at the Griffin Funeral Chapel in Star City. There will be no formal visitation. Burial will be in Butler/Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Star City. Pallbearers will be Jimmy McGee, Jackie McGee, Buddy McGee, Denville Culliford, Colby Edmonds and Michael Flynn.
